Seafood may soon become an upmarket product in Russia and will be affordable to only select customers in the country, which is mainly due to a significant rise of prices for it, which has been observed in recent months and insufficient supplies to the domestic market.

According to some Russian media reports, so far the growth of prices for most seafood and some fish species in the Russian market has amounted to 40-60% with the biggest growth being observed in the HORECA segment of the market...
